  • Travel cost based on the real return journey cost, rounded up to the nearest £2.50

Remote Support (England)

  • £40 per hour

Travel, Access & Hard-to-Reach Locations

Our travel calculations are based on public transport travel time from Hatfield. If your location takes more than 30 minutes to reach, a travel charge may apply.

Travel fees are always based on the real cost of getting to you and back. Bus, train and tube fares are used wherever possible and are rounded up to the nearest £2.50 for simplicity.

If an area has no safe or practical public transport links, we may use a taxi or alternative methods instead. When this is necessary, the travel fee is the actual taxi or equivelant fare (again rounded up to £2.50).

Certain locations can be challenging due to estate layouts, rural paths, restricted access or multi-stage transport routes. In these rare cases:

  • a small access/travel fee may apply (based solely on real travel cost), or
  • we may have to decline the booking if reaching the property is unsafe or impractical

No surprises - all costs are confirmed clearly before any payment is taken.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Within 48 hours: charged the first hour or 50% of booked time
  • Refunds within 48 hours are discretionary
  • Starting work within the cooling-off period waives free cancellation rights
